engine3b
Hi I'm looking at getting a bta and was looking at a couple kessil 150s or the 160 when it comes out. I have a 36 gallon bowfront with 40 lbs live rock and sand. I'm planning on keeping a pair of clowns bta and some ZOA's and maybe few different LPs. My question is what spectrum is best for this set up should I get two at the same or two different. Thanks for the input. Link to comment
zooman72
Either the 10000K or the 15000K will work, and yes, get two of the same. Oh, and welcome to NR... Link to comment
engine3b
Thanks. I think I may wait for the 160s for the sunrise to sunset effect. Just read conflicting articles about 15000+ makes them grow slowly and less. But I like the look of them. Link to comment
acrab78
I tried two different BTA's in my tank, had been up for 8 months first time and 15 months the second time and run a 15K kessil 150. It didnt work out and the BTA's turned to mush. Not blaming the light cause it could have been a number of different things going on... But I have given up on trying to keep a nem and clownfish...
