Dr.Brain Coral
http://www.marinedepot.com/AquaticLife_RO_Buddie_3_Stage_Reverse_Osmosis_System_w_Tubing_35_to_60_Gallons_Per_Day_ I was wondering if this is a good RO filter for my ten gallon tank. Would I need to go with a RO/DI or would this suffice. Link to comment
Squinchy
Link not working Do you know the TDS from your tap? In my case the tap water is at 33 TDS, drops to 7 TDS after my RO filter. Have been considering adding a DI unit if i find one at a good price Link to comment

AZDesertRat
RO by itself only gets you 90-98% of the way there, it is the DI that does the final polishing for pure water. There are many things RO is not particularly good at removing so it is best to have an RO/DI. A good reef quality RO/DI can be had for about $125-$140 here: www.spectrapure.com Others I would suggest looking at are www.buckeyehydro.com and www.purelyh2o.com , both have true reef quality systems in the same price range. ManGups
I use an AW filter 4 stage portable system: http://store.afwfilters.com/reverse-osmosis-systems/portable-ro-systems/mikro-delta-4-stage-portable-ro-system-plus-di-with-75-gpd-membrane-former-psi-system/ This has been perfect - we have like 300+ TDS in our tap water and it would bring it down to 0. Filter set last at that rate for 8~9 months I got this primarily for the small size - I didn't want a big ass bulky system for getting less than 10 gallon of water a week . Link to comment
