thre3leven
Have been into photography since high school. Wanted to turn it into a career, but tuition at Brooks wasn't appealing, so decided to keep it a hobby. Spent five years in school learning black and white film photography, hours in the dark room, only to have someone click a button on a digital print and get the same result. Felt like it didn't take much to get a good shot anymore, so I stepped away from it for a few years, and got rusty. Invested in a decent point and shoot because I was going to be backpacking for a while through Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, then coast to coast and back through the states over the course of a year and a half. Hands down, the Panasonic Lumix (t5 i think) was my favorite, especially with the longer exposure options and the waterproof/dustproof/drop proof ruggedness. It lasted almost a year backpacking, but I learned the hard way that it wasn't drop proof AND water proof. After that it was just a cheapy olympus and low end lumix for asia, which was unfortunate because some of these shots had so much more potential. Wife purchased a Nikon d3200 as a christmas present this last year, and I have been in love. Still have a ton to learn, but still love shooting. Enough of that, here are a couple shots, will upload more soon. These are all with various point and shoots: Link to comment
