DaveDe
Anyone with a success story and what worked - please let me know. Manual removal is keeping it in check but I'd kinda like to win this battle. Link to comment
hey
RC has a thread about marine algaefix and clearing it up, others report more skimming and carbon dosing / adding cuc that eats it like emerald crabs. Havn't had it myself but I do know emeralds tend to not eat big stuff so manual removal and letting crabs mow down whats left would probably be more effective. Do you know your N and P levels? DaveDe
I'll try a few things first but I'm not ruling our Hydrogen Peroxide. It did wonders for a algea outbreak I had two years ago and the more I read, the more I like it. BTW - where from in WV? I'm from Morgantown. Link to comment

DaveDe
This stuff is evil. You don't want this in your tank. Link to comment
hey
This stuff is evil. You don't want this in your tank. Sounds nasty, I am in Charleston. Met my wife in morgantown though good times. Meh the NP levels being zero are probably due to the algae proliferating. RC has more info on it than this site from what I could find though in a search, good luck man. Link to comment
tierarzt
My tank had a dictyota problem. It was spreading aggressively after a small amount was introduced on a frag plug. I was watching it grow thinking it to be some cool macro before I realized what it actually was.I added 2 emerald crabs which went to town on it and quickly eliminated it. Good luck. Try some emeralds! Link to comment
