Tank mates?

Pretty much anything that won't outgrow the tank. Gobies are always a good choice! There are some really nice ones, though most are shy. If you pair them up with a Pistol Shrimp, they're more inclined to explore the tank.

Look into a Clown Goby. They don't hide that much and have great personalitites.

But a small Damsel would be fine, too. They swim around a lot more.

IMO damsels would be a tad bit PITA and jerks to the fire fish, also before adding more fish make sure your tank can hold the extra bio load of another fish

My tank can support the bioload. the rock is coming alive i'm so glad! coraline algae is growing like crazy! So i'm thinking a goby pistol pair? any ideas on the goby breed?

Very cool! I just got a fire shrimp, doing very well. I think that's it for the live stock. Got 3 hermits as well, I'm not gonna add anymore live stock besides coral!

Firefish are extremely passive. Damsels are the exact opposite... wouldn't recommend them. You could do a clown, gobies are great. I like Court Jester's a lot. They're real cool looking and a small fish. Something a little different would be a Possum Wrasse. Once you get them eating they're good to go. I know it'd be a lil on the extreme but a jawfish, dotty back, or royal gramma.

1. Clownfish

2. Court Jester Goby

3. Tailspot Blenny (total boss)

4. Possum Wrasse

5. Jawfish

6. Dotty Back

7. Royal Gramma
