Are these colonial hydroids? Should I try to get rid of them?

Hey guys I just ready this article saying that colonial hydroids are bad for the tank, I think I may have some flourishing in mine! lol.

I'm referring to the brown/yellow looking things that have been multiplying in my tank, to the right of the red/white worm. Please advise thank you!!

Those are called yellow polyps in layman's terms and are not what is referred to in the link you posted on colonial hydroids. Most people pay money for the yellow polyps you have and consider them to be ornamental.
