I just got my brand new RODI system from aquasafecanada last week the TDS of the water is 0 but after I store the water into a bucket for a week then the TDS raise up to 0.03. Dose anyone know whats happening?

Probably leaching from the bucket. TDS creep is typically from the permeate and solute equalizing across the RO membrane when not in use.

Depending on the storage bucket, this will get better or worse over time. RODI water is "hungry".

IME, the brand you bought doesn't use the best quality parts in their systems. I've had to replace the RO membrane canisters on the units I've bought from them. I've not been terribly pleased with their replacement filters either. I buy filters from BRS and membranes from SpectraPure.

A TDS of 3 is not the end of the world but it could be as simple as dust, salt left over from a previous water change or oils from the plastic moulding process.

I would rinse it with distilled white vinegar the RO/DI water. Always keep the storage covered with a tight fitting lid to keep foreign substances out.

The TDS you show is actually 3, most TDS meters register in whole numbers and what looks like a decimal point is actually a power ON indicator, the screen goes from 0 to 999. There are exceptions like the HM Digital COM-100 that reads in tenths but they are more expensive meters.

I also agree, you will want better replacement filters at the 6 month mark and Spectrapure sells only the very best. For not a lot of money and a little time replumbing your system you can have a good reef qualityRO/DI which AquaSafe is not in stock form.

I have those 5 gallon jugs from winco and store my water in. So far I havent had any issues with them. But I do test the water everytime before I use it.
