Heteractis aurora (Beaded, or Sand anemone)
Difficulty: More difficult.
Maximum size: 1 foot in diameter, though large sizes rarely seen in trade.
Recommended Minimum Tank Size: Small-medium (minimum 10 gallons).
Placement in Tank: In the sand only.
Light: Metal halide lighting.
Current: Low - moderate.
Natural clown fish symbionts:
A. akindynos
A. allardi
A. bicinctus
A. chrysogaster
A. chrysopterus
A. clarkii
Split history in captivity: None.
Additional info: Unique “knobby” tentacles make this anemone easy to identify.
Frequently available in a sandy brown color, but occasionally seen in bright purple or
other bright colors. Like other sand anemones, prefers to bury its base deep in the sand,
with its oral disk lying flat on the surface of the sand."

I picked this little guy up from local fs for $15 since they didn't know what he was lol. He's been doing great in my ten g. He's lot brighter in person and he looks a little slumped due to the picture being take. After a 20% water change.

Here's a curlique anemone that could go in a 10g with sand and rock. Actually this one in this pic is dividing and if I can figure out how to remove it from the tank you could have it for free, just pay the shipping. Mine is paired with a pistol shrimp which is what they usually do. I don't know if they can survive without their shrimp or not. If you target feed it maybe, but maybe the shrimp also grooms it, I don't know.
