genanna
I would like to light a 125 gallon 72" reef tank with 4 lumia 5.2's. I'm thinking of mounting them on two 24" heat sinks. Can I control all 4 lumia's with one StormX controller? Would it be better to use a single 48* heatsink instead of the 2 24" heatsinks? Link to comment
jedimasterben
Is your tank a 'standard' 125 with three braces? If so, you'll really want to run three individual heatsinks and keep the LEDs centered in each, and you'd probably be looking at six of the 5.2, not four, for spread. Link to comment
genanna
My standard tank only has 2 cross members. I was thinking of straddling them with each of the 2 24" heatsinks, Lumia's on either side of the supports. Link to comment
jedimasterben
Oh lol, apparently I forgot how to count, three sections would only have two dividers. You can give it a shot, as the middle would be getting a lot more light than the outer sections, so plan corals accordingly. Link to comment
Themaddhatter
I'm planning for the same style tank. I'm going to 3 6" makersleds with 1 lumia 5.1 each to start. If I need more I'll add one more to each. Link to comment
