MlDukes
In the last month one of my maxis has ate 2 of my fish. My 3 year old mandarin and a royal gramma I've had for 4 yrs!!! First my mandarin and now my gramma. He's still breathing but I don't think he's gonna make it. So here's my rant and photographic proof that a 3" anemone will gladly devour a 3" fish!!! Urrrrgggh!!!! Pulled off the lights to get him out so I snapped a quick pic with the flash before yanking him out. Link to comment
Formula462
That's why carpet anemones shouldn't be kept with fish imo. They hunt. Link to comment
1.0reef
At an closed LFS I used to go too, they had a 5 inch female Clarkii clown killed by a smaller maxi. Very strong stingers on them. Link to comment
MlDukes
I've had this nem for over a year and now all the sudden he's out to get everyone. Problem is he's on the back side of a main supporting rock and impossible to get to with out completely tearing apart my rock work... What to do. What to do. Link to comment
joy13
Irritate the heck out of him put a pump blowing on him until he starts to move. Some had had luck with ice on the foot too, put it in a baggy and rub it across the foot. Make sure it is ro water cube in case it leaks. I have 2 maxi minis and never had a problem. I lost 2 blennies to rock flower anemones. Link to comment
