Dragonface Pipefish Feeding Ideas

So I've gotten my seahorse cube in good enough shape to add a new resident, and I started with the aforementioned pipefish since the tank already has a lot of copepods and I have a copepod culture started in another tank. If possible, though, I'd like to try to train the little guy to eat mysis or other frozen food. Anyone had any luck getting theirs to eat different foods?

I've had the best luck with really small foods such as frozen Cyclops, nutramar ova, etc, or sometimes Mysis if you finely chop it. Sometimes newly hatched brine can help to wean if you feed in conjunction with the frozen. Try feeding when the lighting is subdued also, in my experience it helps that they can't see it so well and makes it easier for them to mistake the frozen for live. Hope that helps.

That was very helpful, actually. I'm gonna start hatching brine shrimp soon anyways, so that's something I can try very soon.

Cool give it a go, I've had a couple stubborn ones and a few that were easier, just seems to depend on the individual.
