mrBananas
So I've added a few critters since the last update. The two damsels get along relatively well. They a couple of the more mild tempered species. I've seen them play tag a few times, but no ones missing pieces of fin. I picked up a few zoa frags and tossed in my christmas favia from my 12 gallon cube. mrBananas
So I got a 5 new frags from a friend that came up for the game this weekend. They were all a little stressed from the long drive, but everyone is still alive. The WWC Halle Berries were fragged not too long ago and seemed to have lost some color. I'm hoping they make a quick recovery. The chalice was sold to my buddy as a Jason Fox Rainbow Chalice. The larger of the two might be the size of a dime. From what I can see it's mainly pink with blue spots on the raised portions. I'm excited to see how that one turns out! WWC Halle Berries and Jason Fox Rainbow Chalice frag - so tiny! More Unnamed Zoas - Green ones on the left which haven't opened up much. The ones on the right have a nice red skirt. More unnamed zoas - Yellow with pink rings near blueish skirts. They look pretty flashy even when they're closed up. Link to comment

mrBananas
I finally found a good camera setting on my phone that keeps the colors very close to what I see in person. It's the Scene setting Beach/Snow on a Galaxy S3 if you were curious. FTS 10/27/14 Link to comment
mrBananas
Finally got my hands on some of these after waiting months for a frag. I'll have to get a better pic once they have had some time to acclimate and are happy. Sunny D's Link to comment
mrBananas
I decided to add some supplemental RB LEDs. I got two par lamps off eBay for $10 ($5 a piece) and so far I'm quite pleased. Currently just running them before and after my main lights to see how the corals respond. So much pop! Here's a link to the lamps: Link to comment

mrBananas
So, I recently purchased a reefbreeders value fixture and I'm very impressed with it so far. All the corals seem happy and their colors are popping. I'm slowly bring up the intensity which is currently 50% blues and 50% whites. I've also had chaeto growing in the back for about 2 months and have noticed my display is much cleaner. Very little glass scraping required now.
