(Link in my signature, of course!) I wanted to create a new thread on here to show-off my non-aquarium/reef related photographs simply to share my passion! Please feel free to comment or critique any of my shots, or ask any questions. The biggest question I'm asked is what camera do I currently use. Kijho Posted September 9, 2014 Author Share Posted September 9, 2014 I don't think I'll "go back in time" and post anything that I've taken prior to today, in moving forward however here are some photos I shot just yesterday during a mini-shoot with a friend. I also really enjoy motorbikes - my friend (pictured) actually had an incident where his bike was knocked over and suffered some damage. He managed to snag a set of really awesome aftermarket fairings which he spent 8 hours installing!! I really like the 70D - such a good solid feeling camera. The main reason I upgraded the body thought was because I got a really good deal on it. (body only) but if I could have my way and had the money laying around I'd go for any of the Canon 5D's (II or III) I really like the continous auto-focus on the 70D for video, too! you make me want to switch to Canon....... Hehe, I actually thought you had a Canon 5D? What are you using? Link to comment

With winter however comes the Aurora Borealis which I love. Had my friend use my camera and I pre-set the shutter speed on shutter priority mode to get a few rollers shots of me on my bike. Wanted something to remember when it eventually sells. Its looking like a solid option but idk if it has continuous auto focus Ah, I used to work as a printing lab tech. over two years ago. That's when the 7D MK II rumors had began. Several of my co-workers at the time had the 7D and kept telling me to wait for the MK II. I waited...and waited... and waited. After so long the talk about it really seemed to die down and I just forget about it really. I thought the 70D was the "next step" in Canon's game with the continuous AF at 1080p video. I ended upgrading to the 70D back in February this year. I'm glad I didn't wait this long... as it just got announced! I'd have waited too long lol. Looks like a very solid camera but I don't regret buying the 70D. I think when I eventually have a third camera - if I continue to be as into it as I have been lately - I'll just go full out on a 5D MK (whatever numeral is out at the time, haha.) Link to comment
