Starfish hitchhikers....evil?

There are at least a few of these little black (with lite bands) starfish that are on some rock with coral I just picked up.

The are almost the diameter of a quarter. Body is about a millimeter.

Should I try to keep them out of my tank?

Thanks.

Tons of these I received with my live rock. I do get a few in on corals, but they usually get nuked by the coral dip.

Are you dipping your corals?

Corol was from a friend not a store. So I didn't want to nuke ......aka dip. Wanted the large live rock alive.

Dipping won't kill the bacteria present in the rock.

I dip everything I get from my friends. ;)

I've got at least a dozen of them wandering around the rocks. They are especially active in the evening and when there's food in the water. I've seen them crawling over all kinds of coral with no ill effects that I can discern.
