Snapper Posted September 5, 2014 Share Posted September 5, 2014 so my flame angel that used to eat like a freaking pig while in QT and ate almost EVERYTHING has randomly stopped eating. He had a small ich break out in QT that got taken care of almost 2 weeks ago but almost immediately since he hasn't ate ANYTHIGN i have put in the tank, he swims to it at full speed but then just stops before even thinking of putting it in his mouth. what on earth is his problem now? hes lost a good amount of weight due to lack of eating but swims fine isn't shy all over the tank looks great spirit wise. seabass Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 They are very sensitive to copper meds. According to LiveAquaria, they shouldn't be exposed to levels near or above 0.15ppm. Other than this, check the ammonia level. Link to comment
Snapper Posted September 6, 2014 Author Share Posted September 6, 2014 he exhibited this behavior even in my DT I have no luck with these guys. My favorite fish and I have tried 5x trying to keep one. 1 died 8 months later as he thinned out, the other 2 during QT etc etc. Link to comment
