mgirdwood Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Hi not sure how to suggest what the critters are, i have been through the sticky but still not sure. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/64605032/Movie%20No.2_20140904_211728.mp4 - i couldn't get a photo as the phone wouldn't focus on such small area, but I was able to catch a small video (please excuse the music from the tv - probably should be the theme from Rocky the way they are going at it.) unfortunately its just too large to upload here in the forum. the action took place underneath my new Disco's that just turned up, critter are pretty small as the Disco are both around 2.5 cm across do i keep or do i flush ? many thanks MArk Link to comment

Lynaea Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Pretty sure they're amphipods. Usually good to keep around, I love watching mine scurry around. There's some debate about certain species eating corals but I'd just keep an eye on them for now. Innocent until proven guilty, haha. Link to comment
