Bad influence blenny?

My two clownfish were eating really really good the past few weeks. We had a nice little routine: pumps off, lid up, clownfish eating right outta the syringe, barely any food floating away to waste.

Then I added a tailspot over the weekend. Today at dinner time... Pumps off, lid up... No clownfish. Nowhere... Um...

Everyone was hiding way in the back and did not want to come out. I shot some shrimps their way so maybe they'd realize it was dinner time... Nope. Food sank, hermits went crazy.

I turned the pumps back on and the shrimps stared circulating around. I saw everyone catch a few but I know not enough to be full.

I blame the blenny, and hope everyone will come out to get a full meal soon...

Things will get back to normal soon. The clowns are a more aggressive species than the tailspot and will take command of your tank soon enough. Everyone is just getting to know the new fish on the block. The clowns most likely are just defending their territory/ sleeping spot. There is also a possibility that your clowns have laid eggs and with a new fish in the tank can be defending it from the tailspot. Give it a few days and try not to worry to much.

Actually, the three of them were hiding together. I guess I should be happy they are "getting along" rather than fighting all over my tank, huh?

At least the hermits are all getting a little extra today, bet they are happy about that!
