charnelhouse
I have a newly acquired Citron Goby who is doing very well after 3 days. Eats great, very active and a real character. I have noticed that after pretty much every feeding, once he settles down a little he will regurgitate one small piece of food and play with it. He spits it out, chases it down, spits it out... over and over for 10 minutes or so. Is this normal? Just curious. He seems perfectly healthy. Link to comment
BulkRate
My yellow clown goby does this from time to time. Initially it was because the pellet size was just a little too large... but nowadays (with 1+ year's growth) it seems to be just for kicks & grins. Link to comment
joy13
My friend has one that picks up food off the bottom of the tank and will actually spit it out, the other fish follow him around and eats it before it settle back down. It is funny to watch because the fish actually crowd him when he starts doing it, it looks like he does it just to be doing it not because he is hungry. Link to comment
