Thank you all for a lovely intro ..

Well well there cowboy, don't be one of those guys. Welcome to nano reef, keep posting pictures of your setup.

+1 this is my first time seeing this thread and I'm on here quite a bit..

looks like a pretty good start.. definitely avoid the blue tang, far too small of a tank..

I have a problem with my river reef led system The blue cuts in and out I believe it to be the touch switch But I'm looking to convert to auto timers

So I have a question for you all

I'm seeing some of your tanks have multi coloured lighting not just led white and led blue

Is there a reason for this

red/amber/etc make up for poor white selection (give warmth and color to non-fluorescent colors)

green/cyan/lime make the tank brighter to your eyes

violet is suppose give better fluorescense and growth

then there is royal blue vs cool blue, most think a mixture is best

warm white vs cool white vs neutral white, opinions vary, most people are going towards neutral or a mix of them

I may have some of that wrong, but I think that's fairly close..

Do you have multiple on at the same time tho

Cheers for reply

At the moment only using white

It's on a timer

Blue is faulty from factory awaiting replacement

I've recently had a 2 degree rise in temperature is this because of heat increase in weather

It normally runs at 25degrees and has never risen now its at 27 I've wound the heater down a bit

Any ideas
