Nano Box Facebook/Blog Ads

New website will be up this Friday. I will be doing a few ads with multiple websites and wanted feedback. I will have one for the Duo and QUAD as well.

I need to fix a couple small items on the Tide.

I am going for simple but catch your eye things. Of course the website will be added on the bottom :)

Thoughts?

Great! I think you should also have a picture of a thriving tank with your light over it. The picture should show the light and the tank in one.

It might be better if the coral photos had a pixel or two of space between them; having them flush against each other feels a bit odd.

Can't wait to see them live!

Agree with the coral pics being slightly separated and maybe use a coral picture that shows more of transition from the green to orange. Looks awesome though, and maybe some type if photo credit to ninja somewhere on the site because those pictures are great

Love it man, but honestly if icould change one thing it would be change the coral pic in the middle of the top photo into a bad@$$ SPS instead of some cloves man, kmon I know and have seen nanobox hold the color and grow some mean sps:) IMHO a beautifull strawberry shortcake acro, or some sick orange Millie some sps with a different color than you have there too much green! Hope this help but ya know I'm right

+1 on if you can get an SPS. A lot of people will buy a proper light fixture if they see that it's capable of growing SPS.

Agree 100% on this. Either do as suggested or you could feather them into each other. But if you do go that route, I'd swap the goni and zoa position. Too much green. Another way to do it would be to tilt each pict in random directions. Last thing, I'd use a nice color unit. The black looks way drab, especially against the corals popping with color. Let the unit standout and grab the attention. jm2¢

  • +1 to showing SPS, that capability is why I bought the tank

I like that it's simple and you probably don't want to clutter it, but a reference to "full-spectrum" and "LED" helps inform the viewer exactly what they're looking at. So for the copy, you could get away with "Custom Built, Full-Spectrum LEDs.

+1 to showing a killer nano tank vs. just showing corals. Give the viewer something to aspire to with your lights. Plus, you serve a niche market better than anyone else right now so promote that!

The ads look nice but they don't tell people that the Nanobox is a LED for nano tanks. We are familiar with it from the forum but I doubt you want to run ads to get our attention. If you are trying to reach people that aren't familiar with you I would consider something (as others have suggested) that features your product over a tank and more descriptive text.

Revised. Spacing, new photos and "better" unit colors. I am using these for a basic link on the new website. On the others I will have a quick blurb on full spectrum, etc.

The add featuring the tide seems a lot stronger than the duo specifically because of the width of the fixture in relation to the coral pics. I understand the size difference but felt like it should be pointed out that it is definitely stronger than the duos poster.

I like the Tide one more too =). I think both should be consistent as far as the spacing between photos, size of the photos, and even font size used on the bottom. Sorry for being nitpicky, but I am a web software designer and just went through UI review on like 200 webpages =P.

Got it! This is all being done by myself. So it is a learning lesson itself. I feel that they are turning out half way decent ;)
