joy13
What other fish do you have? Is it completely covered? They only need a small hole to jump out of. Link to comment
ManGups
What other fish do you have? Is it completely covered? They only need a small hole to jump out of. I have no other fish yet -- tank still cycling. Tank not covered but will need to get a cover before I get any fish that jumps... I am still planning what all to get .... but would like to get a Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse if I can get one from a local LFS. I guess it should be one to be added ... Link to comment
PiscesFish
I have a Lubbocks in my 28g nano. He's fine in it too but then again, he does have a lot of rockwork to swim through to feel safe. His tankmates are pretty mellow too and he hasnt shown any signs of stress or anything of unhappiness. But yeah, you should get a lid. Ive read that they like to jump. Link to comment
Obsessed Reefer
I have one in my Fusion 20, had him for about a week, and he's been doing well. Eats like a pig, gets along with my Onyx pair, and loves chilling under my rock arch in the shade. Link to comment
clownfitch
I have been looking for a species that would do well in a nano other than a possum wrasse as I hear that they hide out too much. I would like to have one in my 29 biocube but figured the tank was too small to keep one happy. I have a Christmas wrasse in my 65 reef and every now and then he is pacing the glass trying to find a way out so I feel like he is unhappy in that tank do to its limitations even though there is a substantial amount of rock and he is the only wrasse in the tank... I'm gonna follow along with this thread in hopes more folks chime in on their fairy wrasse experience in a nano. Link to comment
