Assuming you're referring to acro power?

Haven't been impressed. Used the korallen zucht amino concentrate and absolutely noticed a difference but that stuff is expensive. I know there's a lot of people using acro power though. Would really like to see some objective side by side examples because I haven't noticed any difference with it.

I use it off and on.. I'm on my second bottle, the first bottle gave me quicker growth (or maybe a placebo effect), second bottle just gives me nasty film algae outbreaks.. imo, just feed your fish and don't waste your money on acro power.. I also tried the brightwell stuff, that stuff actually smelled like fat or something, but didn't notice any difference with that either really..

If you don't have a lot of fish, have low nutrients, and barely feed your tank, it'll be drastic when you add it. If you have a mature tank and feed a lot of food, you already have lots of vitamins, amino acids, HUFAs, carbohydrates, etc, etc, etc in the water and it won't make much of a difference (or any at all).

It isn't some magic product. I use it occasionally when I slack on feeding or run GFO, but I much prefer just feeding my acros. Yes, amino acids will elicit PE from acros, but you know what gets a much, much better feeding response than that? Appropriately sized foods like oyster eggs, rotifers, and baby brine and time. Feeding acros is a huge pain since they take a long time to respond (unlike LPS which have feeders out the second food hits the water) and you might have to wait a half hour, but feeding is way better.

Not magic.

Amino acids.

Large enough to build proteins quickly.

Small enough for absorption across sessile animal cell membranes quickly.

I've been using 3ml a week on my Nuvo 16- I felt that the coral responded well and appeared to be open more- not a huge difference - pure anecdotal- nothing scientific about my observations. I didn't see anything noticeably wrong so I will continue. My SPS are happy = I am happy

I use it and like it. I was recommended FlatWorm Stop (a zeovit product) for coral health across the board. I'll be testing out the two products to see which one I prefer. I notice a better feeding response from my corals when I use AcroPower an hour before feeding. More food equals healthy corals.
