GOSKN5 Posted August 24, 2014 Share Posted August 24, 2014 I am working on a new little project.. an evolve 8 gallon that I want to drill and connect to my sump... I assume since it's acrylic I can just take a hole saw bit and go slow keep it wet etc.. My question is, it has and false wall as its an AIO type tank, I guess I can use that as if it were an overflow box? can I drill the back instead of the bottom and use an elbow as the overflow? Then drill a return hole through the back and d false wall for the return pipe? Am I thinking this through correctly? Thanks Link to comment
Skuba Posted August 24, 2014 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Search my username on RC. I used a aqueon 8 as my display fuge and Beleive I made a thread of it. Bad pic but you get the idea. I drilled a bulk head and return in the pump chamber The overflow chamber works like u said a overflow. I've been thinking about throwing some chaeto and a small led back there since its a open area not being used. Link to comment
