krourke85
Hi all, I've been reading that 'sand sifters' are a no go for nanos, but I thought my tank might be an exception for the following reasons: - I have a 3" deep bed of live sand - my focus on biological (and not media basket) filtration has left me with an abundance of of sediment/silt - my LFS guy said it would be good (I know, I know, but he's a good LFS guy) Link to comment
Tamberav
It gets WAY too large for a 8g (like not even close to being able to fit in a 8g). You can slap your LFS guy now. A sand sifter may also have a negative impact on the live sand bed you're trying to create for nitrate control. Link to comment
Formula462
A diamond? No way. They are sausage like and huge. Your lfs guy sucks Link to comment
Egginis
My diamond watchman Goby grew to the size of a cucumber. Unfortunately this type of fish will not work as others have mentioned. Link to comment
krourke85
Will double check with LFS, fault is most likely with me :S He pointed it out, said it was a goby and I assumed it was a diamond from the look of it. Link to comment
