NanoDiver
I know my current light is not the best, does anyone know if it will grow soft corals at the very least? Link to comment
jolee0722
I'm pretty sure those lights can grow soft corals and maybe some low light lps Link to comment
NanoDiver
Thanks for the reply. I know they are pretty bright since they are only 12" from the sand bed. But they are only 1w each which worries me Link to comment
NanoDiver
I just picked up a few turbo snails to help with the cycle. I added bio-spira a few days ago and everything is testing right. I'm going to wait a while for fish though. Link to comment
NanoDiver
So I just bought a rapid led light someone sold on eBay for $150. I'm just wondering what people think about the color combination. LED's setup is as follows: (8) 5 Watt Cool White Cree XP-G2 LEDs w/ 6,000K color temperature (11) 5 Watt Royal Blue Cree XT-E LEDs w/450-465nm wavelength (1) 3 Watt Violet UV LED w/ 410-420nm wavelength (1) 3 Watt Red Cree XP-E LED w/ 620-630nm wavelength (1) 3 Watt Green Cree XP-E LED w/ 520-535nm wavelength Im also wondering about the height at which I should hang this thing? Any thoughts or replies would be greatly appreciated! Link to comment

flobees
Hi How are you liking the Fusion? looking at getting my first Salt water tank. Can you let me know where you got the tank and also what comes with it. Thanks flo Link to comment
NanoDiver
I love the tank. I got it from marine depot for $450. The tank, the minimax reactor, and the ghost skimmer all came in a package deal. It also has the mesh screen, stock pump and leveling mat. I was worried about shipping this tank, but it all came in just fine and fortunately there was no problem with any of the silicone. I love the tank! Link to comment
Leatherneck3755
Very nice. Looking forward to your build. Link to comment
NanoDiver
Thanks! I just finished setting up my ATO. I found a nice jug at an auto store while I was picking up some paint for my mesh screen(thanks for the Idea B hope you don't mind)! But here's the jug I filled it up with some fresh ro/di water and it's running great! Link to comment
NanoDiver
Some more pic of the tank, sry for the bad quality . . . Link to comment
NanoDiver
The new light! Just shipped Link to comment

NanoDiver
So jealous of the MP-10 and the new lights. Good luck!!!!! Thanks! I just got off work and checked my tank out and it seems as though I've got some algae growing on my dry rock, it looked like small red spots that are spread out, but after switching the lights spectrum around I realized its brown. I'm just glad to know my piece of live rock is seeding the tank! Link to comment
dormreefer
How's your skimmer doing so far? I can't get mine to stop spitting out micro bubbles. Also, be cautious with your scape it seems like there's a lot of rocks that could prevent good flow. Link to comment
NanoDiver
The flow seem to be fine I place a shrimp in the front and it has traveled around the whole aquarium. If I have any problems later I'll move it around. And I don't have it running right now I'm trying to get the tank to cycle first. Between the mp10 and the maxi jet my only problem has been to much flow. Also my rock is lifted off the sand by PVC. It touches in a lot of places but for the most part it's raised. Link to comment
Cameron6796
Oooh another one these are going to be their new flagship item I can feel it. Link to comment
NanoDiver
So I decided to build a temporary rail to hang my light on. It turned out pretty good and only cost about 15 dollars. Link to comment
NanoDiver
And my aquatek fan came in. Just keeping it cool! Link to comment

NanoDiver
Review on the skimmer I heard its loudThe MP 10 is louder, the skimmer is not loud at all. I started using it two days ago so it's still breaking in. The micro bubbles are a pain, they are everywhere. The manual says it takes around two weeks to break in and that the micro bubbles should stop. Only time will tell. I'll post when they stop. FedEx has lost my new light in the mail. Now I have to wait until Tuesday to get it, that is if they find it! Such a disappointment Link to comment
NanoDiver
So I'm wondering if I should go with one clown or two. I do plan on getting a purple fire fish and a shrimp and goby pair. I'm just not sure if the bio-load will be too much. I will have some assorted corals, lps and soft mainly. Any thoughts? I'm fine with keeping just one clown but from what I have read they might be better off in a pair. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Link to comment
Obsessed Reefer
You should be fine with a pair. Link to comment
