Nehsmit
Hey all, I've had a clown hosting a nem in the back right of my 24g tank at the very top for about 6 months. The nem 3 days ago moved to the middle left of my tank about 2/3 of the way down. The poor clown is not venturing out, nor had he ever, from the back top right. I have a frogspawn and torch near him. Question is: 1. Will he eventually find his nem? 2. If not will he be hosted by the frogspawn or torch (I know that's not usual but we've all seen it here in the forums)? Anything I can do to help him find his home? Thanks in advance Link to comment
Egginis
The clown will eventually find his home again. I have had the same thing happen in my aquarium on several occasions and the clowns eventually found their way back. I have also had clowns host frogspawn and torch. Just give it some time. pgrVII
You can try gently whooshing it in with your hand but it will find the nem, mine just went on a 2 day adventure around my tank and my clowns went back to it after it settled. Link to comment
CatfishSoupFTW
I wouldnt worry too much? I have seen clowns host anything. Power heads, (the area around it) duncans, nems, torches, frogspawns, xenias etc. I would imagine eventually he will find something it likes. I have heard of people getting the nem, and the fish in a small container so that they almost acclimate to it, but it seems that it has already in your case. i guess time will tell? 6 months of the same stuff, I would imagine coming back to your missing buddy would be shocking. lol Link to comment
