Kalkwasser dosing for a 75g tank?

Which would be better? I have a very small coral load in the tank now. Will be increasing over time.

Method 1.

Tunze ATO in lime water connected to a DA RKL monitoring PH to avoid over dosing.

Method 2.

Tunze ATO in RODI water running independently.

Aqua Lifter in lime water on a DA RKL timer and monitoring PH to avoid over dosing.

Theory behind method 2 is that if the PH raises to the max then the ATO would be shutoff by the DA RKL. But the Tunze would continue to operate as usual. Most if not all of the daily ATO would be supplied by the Aqua Lifter. My PH currently usually in the 8.3 range already so I'm not sure how much ATO water could be added thru the day before it shuts off.

Is anyone using ATO reservoir with lime water with a weeks supply? Trying not to make this a daily chore.

i use 5-10gallons of limewater as top off water in my 20. I just add water to the resivor midweek. Ca and kH are stable at 400 and 9. I do have a pretty good amount of sps and lps to suck up every thing up.

keeping a tight lid on the bucket helps it last longer. Over time it will absorb co2 from the air and lose potency. I dump it all once a month.
