Gramarossa17
I'm wondering if a refugium with just dry rock in it for copepods needs to be lit? Link to comment
Formula462
well typically you put a macro algae in there with the rock to give "refuge" to the copepods to breed and live in. So yeah, if your plan is to produce pods, then you need an algae and light. Link to comment
Gramarossa17
So technically, pods will survive without light than? Link to comment
atrox
It's cool seeing all the happenings inside a fuge, I ll get down on the ground and stare into my fuge. My 5 year old daughter thinks I'm weird, but I think a lit refuge is cool. Link to comment
Gramarossa17
Hahaha I'm right there with you atrox. I spend more time looking at the fuge than the display tank itself. Link to comment
