Hang on back skimmer safe RIMLESS tank? 60 gallon suggestions

I am getting a 60 gallon rimless tank. No sump. Want to do a hang on back skimmer, either cpr bak pak 2+ (rated to 60 gal) or cpr bak pak dual pak (rated 100 gal). Any suggestions? I want something quiet.

 

Also, these will weigh several pounds when filled with water - is it safe to have them hanging on he back of a rimless tank? Wont the weight rip the tank at the seams over time?

You can always place some sort of brace underneath like cutting a piece of PVC and wedging it under the skimmer and the stand so the weight is on the PVC instead of the tank.

I think your aquarium will hold your choice of skimmer well but you can always add a little extra support on the bottom like atrox mentioned in the post above.
