stdari
Hi All, I have been out of reef aquariums for the past 2 years and am breaking back in by starting a 3g Pico tank. I decided to blog my progress so feel free to follow along if you'd like! http://thepicoreefproject.blogspot.com/ Link to comment
DodgerDave
Awesome, I'll be following for sure. Really like the rock set up as it will allow for a lot of different types of coral set up. Do you plan on getting a fish? If so, what kind? What type of corals are you looking to put in your tank? Link to comment
stdari
Thanks, man. I was trying to maximize the amount of surface area for corals without sacrificing water volume, hence why I built the little cage underneath. It worked out pretty well. Can't wait to start adding corals. I think I'm going to get a tiny yellow tail blue damsel for in there. Gobies are cool but not really my favorite. And I'm going to look into a shrimp and crabs once I see how crowded it looks and how my levels look. I'm mostly planning on keeping zoas, mushrooms, soft corals, and gorgonians. I do eventually want to do a DIY LED set up, but I'm going to hold off on that for now. Link to comment
