nakmin123
I just got this small aquacultured ora blue goniopora and the first 3 days it was happy fully opened. Turned my lights on today and it was all closed up and stayed closed all day today. Everything else in my tank is doing good. I have a acropora another goniopora that is over 2 years old. Water is spot on and my reef tank is over 3 years old. Any ideas????? Link to comment
Havok_9
My experience... goniopora is super finicky. And different types will thrive more so than others. I had a green goni and red goni at the same time. Medium flow with moderate lighting, water was great. At first my red goni had great extension, but started to shrivel back in a couple months and was gone. My green did pretty well, grew pretty slowly but steadily. Pretty healthy in my humble opinion and never had a real problem with it. Are you spot feeding it? Mine would only tolerate very light feedings a couple times a week. I've never seen a blue goniopora, got pics? Link to comment
