Hydra 52; 1% power too bright for moonlights?

I currently have a Hydra 52 about 23 inches off my sand bed over a Fusion 30L. My current light cycle is 1130 hours until 1930 hours with a peak of 35% power midway. After 1930 hours my lights fall into 'moonlight acentic' mode at 5% power until 2200 hours, and then complete darkness. My corals have gotten used to this light cycle, and visibly start closing up around 1900 hours like they're getting ready for bed.

My question is, would it be detrimental to my corals if I ran my light at 1% throughout the night, or is complete darkness the better option for their health? If running the light fixture at 1% isn't harmful, then which color bulb/s would you recommend I set at 1%? I kinda think the 1% seems pretty dang bright to use as a moonlight all night.

I agree with you 1% on my 52 seems really bright. I was running 1% deep blue for a while and then added in 1% royal. After the initial shock of the brightness it has kind of grown on me. Currently no coral in my tank as it is young but 1% at night will not harm anything. Eventually everything will get used to it and it will be normal. Its funny because as soon as my lights ramp down to the blues only, my clowns head to "bed" and by the time its 1% everything goes into night mode. Try it, currently i like a stable 1% rather than lunar mode.
