i was looking around on RC and found this thread to be very interesting. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2356487&highlight=camera+gel+filter
its taking a gel sheet(link below) thats red and it'll filter out the blue leds in our tank and by the looks of the pictures above seems to do a great job. considering most of us shot with an iPhone or some camera phone. definitely worth the $5 to try it out.

Photo Shop Express.

Change the temperature in phone. Free.

Nokia Creative Studio (Windows Phone) also has setting to adjust temperature.

Wow this is very cool. I need to pick one of those up. My pictures normally suck because of all the blues.

Edit: I've had that photoshop app for a long time and never used it. I adjusted the temp on some of my pictures and man it made a world of difference.

Try polarized sunglasses if you have them. You may be pleasantly surprised that the solution has been right on your nose.

I'll have to try that. Just got a new pair of Oakleys. So you just shoot through the lenses?

Yea pretty much that's all. Just make sure your lens is clean. If they are lighter/darker transition shades then play around with which side you shoot through. Also play with your tank lighting if possible. Sometimes if you have LEDs you can dial in color real well.

I've had decent success with polarized sunglasses though.

I've found that if I use the photo setting on my bluefish mini(everything at 100%) then my pics turn out great. I am using a iPhone 5 with the camera pro app.
