cptstnkpnts
I have just started a Biocube 29 in the past month. Previously I had (and still have for the time being) a 90 G with sump. After starting up the BC I can say that the process is certainly more enjoyable than running my 90. So much so that I am thinking of starting another perhaps Spec V or a 20 Cube. That made me wonder how many people start off with 1 nano and seemingly get a second or even third. Link to comment
1.0reef
I got a nano, then a bigger one, and another bigger one, and finally a 72 bowfront haha. I am planning to use the old nano for something. A Pico has been something I've always considered, but never done. Link to comment
rod00007
3 galllon pico, 5 gallon ecopico in setup process. 40 gallon breeder frag tank, 72 gallon bowfront as well. Link to comment
cptstnkpnts
Seems like what I expected. They're like Lays® chips. You can't have just 1. Link to comment
Alexraptor
I got two fully functional ones with fish and coral, and two in stand-by with live rock, sand and macro. Link to comment
nismo_sky32
Right now I just have one that is roughly 20 gallons setup but I'm in the process of purchase sine small pico and nano sized tanks for a future project Link to comment
vlangel
I have 2 nanos but they are connected to the same sump. The first is a 36g bowfront with 2 RBTAs and stinging LPS and 5 fish. I really wanted seahorses but they are not compatible with the nems and LPS, hence the 2nd nano. The seahorse tank is a 30g XH with lots of rubble rock, softie corals and macro algae. It now serves as the fuge for the system. I like having to only watch parameters on one system but be able to keep diverse animals that have different needs. Link to comment
Riddler05
I have a 29 gallon Biocube (with a 15 gallon display refugium) plus a Mr. Aqua 12 gallon long. And I am already planning out my next tank. So, yeah, I may be slightly addicted to this hobby. Link to comment
Mirya
8 gallon has been running since January. 24 gallon was just established last week. Daydreams for when I have a house and have 1 or 2 more tanks! I will say if I get to have tons of tanks I like what vlangel has done -- tie them together so you can enjoy different species but just one set of params to monitor. Link to comment
ninjamyst
i have a spec V and a 12 gallon nano. like kids, it only gets easier after the 1st one Link to comment

jacketherington
2 gallon fluval spec, mr aqua 12 gallon long, 40 breeder. Link to comment
Dramad1
I have 3 set up at the moment but will be breaking them down once I get the 125g up and running. Current tanks bc29, cad 34g, microreefs 4.2. My bc is the main tank fully stocked mixed reef, the cad 34 is basically a fowlr tank with a few sps and the microreefs4.2 is acting as a frag/ holding tank for new arrivals. Fun but a lot of work to keep them looking awesome. I plan to dump all 3 tanks into the 125g that I'm piecing together now. Might be up in running with in 3 months or so. hopefully sooner. cptstnkpnts
Once you have the equipment and knowledge it does seem to get easier. When I was first setting up all I heard was go big go big go big. I am sure it helped me to understand the water chemistry and "corrected" some of the rookie mistakes I made but I have to say I am enjoying my nano far more than my big tank. Link to comment
Fishstiks
I have tanks as well. Lol. I have a 38 gallon nano, and a 5 gallon pico. If you don't mind my asking, what was it about the 90 you didnt like? I am upgrading my 38 soon to a 90....... Link to comment
