Smithjm5
Oh baby! I vote mp10 sorry jr haha, and white sand! Link to comment
pismo_reefer
This is suspenseful. No sand. MP10.... ON THE BOTTOM. Link to comment
jbb
I was looking at return pump upgrade options , and found that my QuietOne 1200 will fit in the back chamber. Chamber is 2.97" wide and the 1200 is 2.75" wide. Should I just go with the single larger pump with the Y fitting , or maybe break it up in 2 single pumps and eliminate the Y fitting. Third option would be running the 1200 with the SCWD that was bought for another tank and never used. Stock pump = 211 gph QuietOne 1200 = 296 gph Link to comment
tibbsy07
Do the upgrade pump - I think you will be happier. For sand, I'd go regular sand if any. For power head, if you have an MP10, use it. If not, get something cheaper (jebao, etc). Link to comment
DaveFason
I am waiting for the Tunze 6040. I think it will add amazing flow and what not to our tanks ( nano ) and hide well. Plus SILENT! Hit me up! -D Link to comment
MisturrTinnie
Just give up and pass it on to a local fellow reefer. (Me) hahaha jk. Sub'd. Can't wait to see for the start up. I'm starting up a LED RSM 130D also. Also, I'm running a Jebao WP-10 in the RSM and it flows pretty nice, I would say go for that, since they are dirt cheap for the flow. I kinda want a WP-25 to make massive waves. Link to comment
Egginis
I also vote for white sand and the mp10. Looking forward to the build. Link to comment
jbb
Thanks guys The tank arrived yesterday, but there is a little separation in the false wall seam, so I have messages out to MD & IM to see what they want to do about it. I could easily fix it myself, but being a new tank, I shouldn't have to. Customer service info for both says M-F only, so it may be a waiting game for now. Hopefully I will have good news soon. -B Link to comment

I will sell off much of the stuff from my 90 and then figure out which pump I will go with. I will be running a tunze 6015 for now until I decide, I have 2 of them so I am more than good until then. MisturrTinnie
Pretty local, I'm in North Dallas! Dang if you wanna get rid of those WP-25s let me know I might wanna upgrade the WP-10 in my RSM. Link to comment

Nice, we have a few local people on here. Some of us meet up occasionally , and when Kat is in town she joins in as well. I will keep you in mind on the 25's , I want to at least give them a test run in this tank to see what they will do. Link to comment

MisturrTinnie
There's a local reefer selling that sort of set up. Should just jump on one of his, I've seen his set up before, its so nice… Makes me want a rimless cube. Too bad I'm stuck with a RSM 130D. Link to comment
jbb
his are the 12" I think. If I went that route I would want the 18" Link to comment

This seems not uncommon with IM tanks MD seems to take care of its customers, hoping/thinking they'll make things right with you. Can't wait to see this tank develop. Link to comment
