wildbill79
At some point today, while I was at work, my ricordae cam off of its plug. When it did, the current took it to the back of my tank behind the rocks. With that said, what should I do next? A. Leave it alone and see what happens. B. Try to glue it back to the plug. C. Glue it to a rock. It is balled up pretty tight as they usually do when they get stressed. When they are like this how do you glue them to a plug/rock? Any help would be appreciated. Link to comment
JavaJacketOC
Put it in a shot glass with a piece of live rock rubble and place the shot glass in the appropriate lighting/flow area. It will most likely attach to the rock in the shot glass. It probably released because there was too much flow or not enough light. Link to comment

patback
Shit. I glued the shroom you gave me. i think curing the glue underwater heavily negates the burn, but i still do the shotglass method just because the coral usually slimes and loosens almost immediatly, or unless everything is ideal, a week later it floats off again. as for the burning, i believe cyanoacrylate is cured by moisture and heat is a byproduct. next time you have a little wet glue on your finger tip, wipe it on a cotton/poly shirt and see how that feels. hint, it will burn a ####ing lot. wildbill79
I think that I will let it go and see what happens for a little while. It is in a low flow area in the back of the tank and should still get plenty of light because it is not is a shaded area. I will give it a little while to relax. Thanks for the advice. I will post a pic if it looks happy. Link to comment
