1.0reef
I went to the LFS today for water and was pleasantly delighted to see some Periclimenes brevicarpalis and Pederson's anemone shrimps in one of their tanks. For $15 I thought it was a good deal. I think it's a male, he has large spots on his back and underbelly, plus he's large and robust. Snow_Phoenix
Hi Shane! That's actually a female white spotted nem lol. I had one that lasted two years! Her name was Arra and she's such a sweetheart. I'm waiting to score another three to four more of these guys by the end of this year, if my LFS carries them again. They're RM 10 (U$D3.00) here each. I had a male with two females, but I lost the male and one female both due to bad molts. Only Arra prevailed and hung on - if you have a Gonio or Pagoda coral, gently place this shrimp on it. She'll love it! Best of luck with this gal! Link to comment
BulkRate
Agreed... that dark area under the upper section of its tail looks like an as yet unlaid egg mass to me. Sexing shimp like these is hard, as most guides just say "males have more spots". Beautiful shrimp, though! Link to comment
