Hey everyone!

I'm in the making of getting everything together to start this aquarium! But I should have it started in two weeks at the most! I've been researching for almost two years on and off and finally have the money to start it! It's going to be a 10 gallon display with a 5.5 gallon display! I'm going to be using two of these lights ( http://coralcompulsion.com/led/20k-full-spectrum-clearance .) So here it is so far!

I can't get pictures to post from my phone. >:(

I may of mislead you with flickr, you can upload the pics from your phone but then you need to be on a computer to copy and paste them to the forum!

It's okay! I'll try it that way the next time I'm able to get on my computer! Thanks!

You should be able to use Imgur to upload from your phone, and then past teh link in this furum, altho it only works like 20% of the time for me (the upload part, that is).

Yes!! Haha! It finally worked! Thanks! I really like the idea of a valley look in the middle of the tank. :D

Just so everyone is up to date even if you aren't following this.

On Tuesday the 12th, I filled the tank up with water, put in live sand (about 10-15lbs.) I put in a small piece of live rock. You can see it up in the right corner. There was brittle star on that rock. He's now sitting in the bottom left of the tank on the sand. I believe he is dead. But that's okay. That will just aid in the cycle.

Also I put in half of a raw shrimp to feed the bacteria.

Cool scape! One thing to consider is when the rock is up against or very close to the glass it makes maintenance trickier, particularly keeping the glass clean near the rock. It won't hurt anything for algae to grow there but its all in what "look" you like.

Thank you! Once I get my diatom bloom if I don't like the rock that close I might move it.

One thing that will be different from my original post is the lights. Instead of using the coral compulsion screw in LEDs. I'll be using a 6"x20" fixture built by one of the members of this forum.

If you go on flickr. Click the picture you like. There's a small link right next to your comment button on bottom right of the pic. Under grab the link, there's an option to get the bbcode. Copy and paste it on here. It shouod display your pic here on the forum.

You dont need a computer. On your phone use the option to view flickr in full version mode on your browser.

I got it guys! This is a pic from today! Nothing really changed. I got my overflow to work better. :D but my return pump is pumping up bubbles. :(

Today I fixed my Hydor Pico 180gph powerhead. It works well now.

My overflow on the other hand does not have enough flow to work with my return pump. So I'm going to Lowes and going up one size.

The one piece of live rock I do have, I flipped over so the coralline algae will get more light. It's pinkish red right now and there's not that much of it.
