owenj
Hi all, I recently set up my new refurbed Spectrapure 90GPD RODI unit and have a total noob question as this is my first time with a full RODI unit: do the canisters stay full of water when the unit is being stored while not in use? I'm guessing so since there isn't a flush valve, but just wanted to check with others before putting my unit away. Link to comment
owenj
Yup! Thanks! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to age my filters/membrane unnecessarily lol. I shall store it away with peace of mind. Link to comment
AZDesertRat
When not in use make sure there is water in the canisters so the membrane and DI do not dry out, they don't have to be full just a little will work. Store it in a climate controlled area away from bright lighting and temperature extremes, a closet, cabinet or under the sink works well or mount it on a wall somewhere out of the way close to a water source and a drain.
