duganderson
I saw this image of an overflow box on the outside back of a tank on this web page... http://www.wetwebmedia.com/thrhullrat.htm Can this be done safely without flooding? How do you cut the overflow slits in the back of the tank? Thanks Link to comment
VABumpkin
I'm going to assume the tank is made of laser cut acrylic or it is a two-piece overflow box. Link to comment

urbaneks
This is how I have my new tank configured. When the tank was built the mfg cut the glass out and filled it in with laser cut acrylic. The finished product is amazing, very clean. As for ensuring you don't have a flood, I went with a Bean Animal Style Drain which gives you lots of extra drainage capability. Wish I had some pics to post, but I have not taken any of the over flow yet. Link to comment
