Spiderguardnano
so I've been noticing my tanks glass has been getting more algae on it faster than before and my frag plugs have some type of algae on it.. i think this is due to me just running floss so i was thinking to solve this to use the combo or should i just one or the other? i do water changes 1-2 times a week Link to comment
Mstefa1
Why would floss cause algae? You would be better with carbon and gfo, or another phosphate media. Why would floss cause algae? You would be better with carbon and gfo, or another phosphate media. Link to comment

I'm using a hob filter so do you think chemipure would be good? Link to comment
Dramad1
Yes but cp is expensive overtime, bag your own....way cheaper. The carbon will help make your water sparkling clean while removing dissolved organics. Here is a quick read I just found http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/carbon.htm Link to comment
