ps2cho Posted July 21, 2014 Share Posted July 21, 2014 I just introduced my small yellow tang into my DT. Right away it seemed like the yellow tang went right after my Kole tang. They just keep whacking each other with their tails. Is this somewhat normal when one is introduced? The kole tang is for the most part hiding and the yellow tang is walking around like it just bought the place! Crazy! Link to comment
apneaAddict Posted July 22, 2014 Share Posted July 22, 2014 Tangs of similar shape will usually fight. Even 2 yellows will fight but if kept in groups larger than three then they are ok. Sometimes they still do this in the begining though. I would monitor and make sure neither of them sustain any actual injuries but your case sounds kind of violent. It could also be the size of the tank. Link to comment
