Blueribbon
The RSM 130D was just set up about 6 weeks ago and am having one annoying problem. I cannot get m over-flow box to stay at one level. When I turn off the circulation pump to feed, the box drops and does not come back up to the previous level when the pump is turned back on. AND THEN the water level in the sump rises to an unacceptable level (to allow my filtration system to work.) Link to comment
Blueribbon
Bump to get back to top. I urgently need to have a constructive suggestion as to what to do with over-flow box. Link to comment
cthumphr
I have the 130D, but my overflow box pretty much stays put. If I accidentally touch it from up top, it will sometimes drop, but for the most part it stays put. The only thing I can think of immediately is for you to remove it and try reinstalling it on the tracks it slides on. Inspect those and see if there is a reason it won't hold. Steve T's got them in stock if you think you need a new one. http://shop.mediabaskets.com/Red-Sea-Max-Adjustable-Surface-Skimmer-RS40287.htm Wish I could be of more help, but that is all I can think of. metrokat
The very first mod to the tank most people do is the removal of that overflow box. Link to comment
