130g repair questions

So I inherited a 130 from a friend and it needs a little work. It has a glass center brace that needs to be reinstalled which isn't an issue really but I was wondering it I could just replace the frame with a frame that has a center brace built in it and would that be enough or should I just reuse the glass center brace? Where would be a good place to get a new frame from? Any help appreciated.
