Question about RO unit piping/adapters material

I am looking to connect my RO unit under the bathroom sink. Apparently the only fittings that works for my condo hose sizes are made from brass or steel. I was wondering is this fine for making our water?

Also I notice a lot of the pipes in our condos/houses are all made from copper. I thought copper isn't a good thing for our fish tank. With or without RO water, the water from the tap must go through the copper/steel/brass no matter what.

So does this mean I can use the adapters made with brass/steel and it doesn't really matter because either way with/without this unit I am going to have water passing through those original pipes anyways, and I been doing so for the longest time with no issues.

These are the fittings I need to use to make this work:

Thanks in advance!

I've been using brass fittings on my RODI unit for a few years with no ill effects. I believe the unit will remove any contaminants that come from the plumbing. Someone with more knowledge should be able answer in more detail.

I can only speak from experience when I say that, while my fittings are brass and my water pipe is copper, my coral seem to be doing well in the water I've been making. I bought a torch coral yesterday that opened up immediately after being placed in the tank. It never occurred to me that the brass fittings and copper pipe could be detrimental. I assumed that the RODI unit would remove any impurities introduced from the copper and brass.

As long as the brass or copper is on the tap water side it is not an issue. Never use metal fittings on the treated RO or RO/DI side though since the the treated water has been stripped of its contaminants or TDS (ions) and is always trying to get back to its natural "dirty" state so eats metals to gain TDS or ions back.
