Broken Par 38 Bulb

I have a Par 38 bulb that I accidentally broke trying to unscrew from a gooseneck clamp. Does anyone know if its possible to somehow repair it by simply adding another base of some sort? I've been to a couple local hardware stores and no one seems to think its possible.

seems like a simple repair? or maybe break another (cheap) bulb. but the other end, and rob that part. lol but if its just those two connections, i think there is hope. And you know what, it being broken, there is luck. Wait, can you remove the piece thats stuck in the gooseneck? maybe you can reuse it .

I tried to save the metal piece from the clamp but since I had to use pliers to get it out so it was all bent up. I keep looking online for just an end cap but no luck.

maybe if you buy the extension you can just rob the base ? I know they have this store in the states and in canada. no need for bulk buy. they dont sell to the public, but i went in their once looking for a light rail system and they just make up a name for you. lol

i looked around quickly on the web to see whats up, hard to say if they just sell the lamp base, but maybe if you go to home depot and grab a lightbulb, (a sturdy one) you can maybe take the end piece? of course, a par38 lightbulb led or halogen may put you back 20 bucks though or so. D:

ebay has cheap converters which may help?

but youd have to wait for forever for the shipment.

If you don't feel like fixing the bulb you can pick one of these up for a dollar and wire the bulb to it, you'd have to find some way to hold the bulb to your fixture though a few zip ties would do the job...depends how "legit" you want to make the fix or if it's a fuge light or something that would probably be the quickest fix
