Jackstone
Hello all, Just getting into reefing for the first time and picked up newish Nuvo 16 locally. I love this tank but the stock lighting seems poor. I just picked up a AI Vega from a fellow forum member (thanks pschom!) and I'm looking forward to setting it up. I need to figure out how to mount it though. Ceiling or shelf suspension is out as it's in our living room and those type of things would not be approved of. I saw another member that used the Nano arm to mount the Vega and it looked pretty good. Is that safe though? I like the idea of some type of arm. Anyone have any suggestions? I know AI has their own mounting rail but it looks like a bit of scaffolding plus I think it mounts the light the long way front to back which wouldn't work so well for the Nuvo 16. Thanks! Horerczy
3/4" EMT electrical conduit bent into the shape and mounted to the stand would work nicely. Link to comment
Jackstone
That's not a bad idea. I think I'd like to try to find a premade solution though. Any third party clamp mounts out there? Link to comment
