SouthFlorida_Tron
My gorg has been doing great, but the last 3 days has not had any polyp extension, all other corals doing well... no change in any parameters... Thoughts? Link to comment
gogo
what species? it might just be shedding.... my ribbon gorg sheds as often as once a week. try waving food in front of it... see if it wakes it up Link to comment
jedimasterben
Gorgs are pretty finicky. What kinda flow is it in? Link to comment
hypostatic
post a pic. so many species, a lot of which are NPS, so a pic would be helpful Link to comment
Lynaea
If the gorg in question is the bright orange one in your pico tank thread its NPS. Have you been feeding it regularly? Can't tell for sure but maybe it needs a shadier spot. I hear NPS's are tricky, and that's a rare one I think. I only have photosynthetic gorgs but I've been alternating Marine Snow and Kent MicroVert 2-3 times a week. Link to comment
SouthFlorida_Tron
Thanks for all the replies. I wasn't getting the notifications. A few days ago the polyp extension is back to normal. Link to comment
Tamberav
Thanks for all the replies. I wasn't getting the notifications. A few days ago the polyp extension is back to normal. I have that same gorg. It is non-photosynthetic but it is an easy to care for. Feed it small foods like cyclop-eeze and I have even seen it eat small mysis. They close up off and on. Seems normal, once they sense food, they open up. Link to comment
