Biologists Needed! ID this algae

Hey guys I have a really strange type of algae taking over my tank. It is clear for the most part, isn't affected by blackouts or reduced nutrients, and isn't eaten by trochus, hermits, stomatella, or collonista. I need to figure out what it is and how to stop its conquest of my tank. I've come across a thread on RC with a few great shots of the individual cells and microscopic structure of it and I'm hoping someone can identify it here. Here's the pictures:

Any help is appreciated. Many people have dealt with this but no one knows what it is or how to get rid of it!
