linbeg
I bought spectrapure 90gpd refurbished RODi unit, i bought it around december 2013. But have not used the actual unit April 2014. I checked the TDS from just the RO water and found it to be at an 80% rejection rate. SO, i bought a new one and found that it literally just stayed at 80% rejection rate, althought the 90gdp standard RO membrane said that it would be at a 98% rejection rate. Anybody know why membrane isn't rejecting what it supposed to be doing? Any help is much appreciated!! Link to comment
jedimasterben
What's your pressure and input temperature? Link to comment
linbeg
pressure is around 62~psi. For temp, not sure, But im assuming room temp. Link to comment
seabass
The first one probably dried out. They pretest their membranes so they are shipped wet, and you can't let them dry out. I assume that you got the replacement from them too. What's the waste water ratio? Have you let the unit run for awhile, or is this just the initial numbers? Link to comment
linbeg
These are the initial numbers, and i let it run for about an hour from the new membrane. Then i tested. Link to comment
seabass
And what's the waste water to product water ratio? Link to comment
AZDesertRat
What are you testing with, how and where? What is your tap water TDS, RO only TDS and your final RO/DI TDS? What is your measured waste ratio? Link to comment
